I want to upgrade the SSD and RAM of my 15-cw1005la laptop. I already has 16GB of memory in 2 8GB cards. I want to know what is the maximum I could add while not compromising the performance and integrity of its Ryzen 7 processor, if adding more would put it in danger, I'd rather stay with the 16GB and only upgrade the SSD.

Please use the following way to find out the amount of RAM it supports

 

1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.

    This will open the command prompt.

 

2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and hit enter.

    From here, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.
