Product: HP Pavilion dv6-7101tx Entertainment Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hi,
I have a HP Pavilion dv6-7101tx Entertainment Notebook PC (core i5 - 3rd gen).
Currently I have installed 2x 4gb rams (Total: 8gb), I want to upgrade it to 2x 8gb (Total 16gb) rams but I am not sure whether this model supports 16gb ram or not? I have check official hp docs for this model (http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03582006) and maximum ram capapcity is not mentioned. The supported memory modules are mentioned but maximum is not mentioned.
Can anyone confirm that is 16gb (2x 8gb) ram is supported for this model or not?
