ep0992nz
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I'm looking to buy an Envy 15 - ep0992nz. It comes with 32 GB RAM though, and best for me would be 64 GB.

Anyone know if I can upgrade it afterwards?

Sorry to bother. Wish HP would just create a search compatibility tool, where I can just type in the product model and the upgrade I'm looking to make, and it would just tell me if the components are compatible...

Thanks a lot!

Hi:

According to chapter 1 of the service manual, you are already at the max of 2 x 16 GB.

However, the Crucial memory report for the model series indicates you can go up to 2 x 32 GB of memory, and they are almost always right.

The 10th gen Intel core processor your notebook has supports 128 GB of memory with 4 memory slots, so with yours having two, 64 GB sounds reasonable.
