HP Pavilion Gaming - 15-dk0005nq
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I can't find what is the maximum RAM that I can put on HP Pavilion Gaming - 15-dk0005nq. Unfortunately, my laptop came without a user guide and on the HP product page, the links to it are broken.

That being said, I saw that someone is stating that it is either 32GB or 64GB.

I have now 8GB, but I want to add another 32GB (or maybe 2x32GB).

Crucial says that the max memory is 64GB, but Kingston sais that it is 32GB.

Thank you in advance!

Hi:

The HP official max is 2 x 16 GB as set forth in chapter one of the service manual at the link below.

I would lean toward the Crucial report being right as the Intel® Core™ i7-9750H Processor your notebook has, can support up to 128 GB of memory (presumably with 4 memory slots).  Your notebook only has two.
