I wanted to upgrade  ram on my laptop HP 15-E015TX. But i don't know the maximum memory supported by the system. 

So can anybody tell me maximum ram size and what type of ram i should buy ?

Hi,

Max RAM for your notebook is 16GB of DDR3L 1600MHz RAM (2x8GB) even if service manual mentions 8GB.

You could also consider upgrading the 2.5"HDDto a 2.5" SSD which would give a great boost to everyday performance of the PC.
