HP Notebook - 15-da0053wm
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

What is the maximum RAM for this device? I've seen 32gb on some websites and 16gb on others. My laptop is becoming slow again and I was wondering if I could upgrade it any further past 16gb.

Thanks! ^^

@izzyz777,

Welcome to our peer-to-peer HP Community Forum!

According to: https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/hp-15-da0053wm, you could upgrade the RAM on your HP Notebook - 15-da0053wm (4AL72UA) with up to 2 x 16GB of DDR4 PC4-19200, 2400 MHz, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, SODIMM, 260-pin RAM modules.

Also confirmed here: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/55235202.

You could install 2666 or 3200 MHz RAM, but it will down throttle to 2400 MHz.  For best RAM performance, please be reminded to install identical RAM: same brand, model, and capacity.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,
