Hello,
I am currently looking to update my RAM on my HP Pavilion - 14-ce3520na, it currently has 8gb Ram and I am looking to upgrade to at least 16gb. I was wondering what is the maximum I can upgrade too and the exact product type needed for my laptop.
Any help would be great,
Thank you,
JC_96

Hi:
Below is the link to the Crucial memory report for your model notebook.
https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/pavilion-14-ce3520na
According to the report, it has one memory slot that supports a max of a 32 GB memory module.
Unfortunately, HP has not updated the service manual for your notebook and still has the old one listed on your model series' support page.
https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-pavilion-14-ce3000-laptop-pc-series/29133449/manuals
However, the manual may be of use to help you open up the notebook in order to remove and replace the memory.
You can buy Crucial memory in the UK.
Find the memory part number you want from the above report.
Change the country flag at the top right side of the page to the UK, and enter that part number in the search window, and it should be available on the UK site too.

Hi Paul_Tikkanen
I have posted a similar question on maximum memory capacity for the ProBook 450 G4.
I also checked on the Crucial site where it says This part is 100% compatible with ProBook 450 G4 and maximum memory 32GB is specified. (https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct16g4sfd824a/ct9506474)
Here you refer to the manual for the HP Pavillion and states that it unfortunately is not updated.
Banhien answered my post and refered to "...page 2 of the manual..." (I can't see which manual he is refering to though...)
BUT could it be, that this manual unfortunately also is not updated.
Could it be that the ProBook 450 G4 can utilize 32GB RAM? (ie. 2 * 16GB)
(see my post here: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/HP-ProBook-450-G4-memory-confi... )

Hi:
I believe that I answered your question yesterday...I moved the post because it was unrelated to this discussion.
If your notebook has the same processors as listed in the 450 G4 service manual, then the manual is not out of date.
