I have a laptop HP Laptop 14s-fq0xxx. I just want to know what is the maximum ram size that my laptop could support. It has an stock of 1 x 8gb ram. I am planning to have an upgrade, and I have decided to have a 2 x 16gb of 2666 mts (the max speed my laptop supports). I was just confused on what is my maximum ram size. I have looked up kingston's site on compatible upgrades and it says 16gb on my laptop. But when I run wmic memphysical get maxcapacitycommand, it says 32gb. What is what? Yes, you can use 32GB (2x16GB) RAM. Manual says DDR4-2666 dual-channel support (DDR4-3200 bridge to DDR4-2666) using compatible RAM such as Crucial 32GB Kit
