HP 15-AY111nv
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Dear Hp Team,

I have bought the notebook with the name: HP 15-AY111nv.  The motherboard part number is 81EE 62.36.

The only manual which I found on the  web is the following (in Greek):

http://h20195.www2.hp.com/v2/GetDocument.aspx?docname=c05321263&doctype=data%20sheet&doclang=EL_GR&s...

Can you tell me please the maximum ram which laptop supports? Which type should I buy?

Thank you in advance,

Best regards,

Vasilistz

It has 4 gigs in the form of a single 4 gig DDR4-2133 SO-DIMM. The maximum will officially be 16 gigs (8 + 😎 but it is known it will accept 32 gigs (16 + 16) but that is awfully expensive and unnecessary for most computer users. 16 is really a lot of memory and 8 gigs (4 + 4) is plenty for most users.

Start on page 52 for upgrade instructions:

Service Manual

8-GB 820570-005

4-GB 820569-005

Thank you so much for your immediate help. I would like to ask you something more.

My laptop has already 1TB HDD. Can I add an SSD disk without to replace the existing HDD?

HP Recommended

Sorry no. See pages 61 and 66. This is one of the models with a single storage bay and it has one adapter kit for a 2.5 inch hdd or ssd or a different adapter for a SATA M.2 but its one or the other...no way to have both.
