Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

today there are 512gb and even 1TB SD cards reasonably priced ... Whats the largest my HP will handle?

I believe 2TB is the number but I am not willing to spend money just for a test because I don't want to keep many things on one tiny card specially for my cameras during my trips. I always move photos/videos to my notebooks when get back to hotels or homes (day trips).

 

I actually tested  my camera 512GB card on an HP Envy 15-ee0047nr machine.

That is helpful info. However I guess I should have been more specific. I just received my HP Envy as a gift and the SSD is only 256GB! I was going to see if I could augment the HD with a SD card and how large can I go? 
It seems in reading reviews it’s all about cameras. And warnings to stay away from cheap cards!
