Can I read somewhere in documentation the exact Maximum SPEED or SPEED CLASS, as well as Maximum CAPACITY for the SD Card Reader built-in to my Laptop?
No use over-paying for a 256 Highest speed card, if my built-in SD Card Reader can only handle 64Gb at a much slower speed.

The specs of your machine is
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06657658
It has 1 multi-format SD media card reader which supports 2TB max but it is safer to use 1TB. You can use standard SD, SDHC and SDXC cards. Please ONLY use good and reliable cards from good vendors. I'm using the following card on my camera and my notebook
Regards.
