I 'm thinking of buying a new Probook 450 G10 and would like to install at least a 512 GB in the secondary SSD slot (M2. 2230). so I can separate OS and data. The specifications say 256 GB, PCIe, 2230 or 128 GB, PCIe, 2230.
Can larger SSDs be installed?
Thank you.

Its specs
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/ish_7795886-7795930-16
It has 2 M.2 NVMe slots for primary (2280) and secondary (2230) of storage.
- For primary, you can install 2TB or even 4TB (if it was a single sided drive). Many vendors now have 4TB but the good, the bad and the ugly is our main concern
- For secondary due to its format (too short, only 2230) therefore the capacity is limit to 256GB or may be 512GB
Again, the limit is our sky but due to physical sizes, vendors can only squeeze a certain amount of bytes to a physical chip.
Regards.
