What is the maximum SSD upgrade for HP ENVY 17m-bw0013dx?
The manual says :
Support for a 1-TB, 7200-rpm, SATA 7.0-mm hard drive
Support for the following solid-state drives:
512-GB, M.2 2280, peripheral component interconnect express (PCIe) 3×4, non-volatile memory express (NVMe) solid-state drive with triple-level cell (TLC)
512-GB, 2280, PCIe, NVMe solid-state drive
Supports the following hard drive and solid-state drive combinations:
1-TB, 7200-rpm, SATA 7.0-mm hard drive + 256-GB, 2280, PCIe, NVMe solid-state drive
1-TB, 7200-rpm, SATA 7.0-mm hard drive + 128-GB, M.2 2280-SATA3 solid-state drive with TLC
1-TB, 7200-rpm, SATA 7.0-mm hard drive + 16-GB, 2280, PCIe3×2, NVMe, 3D XP solid-state drive
I'm just not sure if those are the different configurations that were sold or if those are the actual limits.
Can I install a 1 or 2 TB SSD + a 500 or 256 GB M.2?
Please advise.
Thanks, Joe

Hi:
The drive capacities listed in the service manual are just what HP offered in the model series.
The Crucial memory/SSD report for your notebook indicates they sell compatible NVMe SSD's up to 2 TB.
