According to the Maintenenace and Service guide it shows that your notebook support SD/SDHC/SDXC

What is the maximum SD memory size supported? Up to 256 GB storage capacity. However, HP does not provide the maximum size of the SD card accepted. I would suggest you could try up to 64 GB which should be compatible on you laptop.
