Maximum Size Micro SD Card

What is the maximum size Micro SD card that I can use in the newly released Spectre X2 (2017).  I put in a 256 GB card and got no indication that it could read the card.

The card I used was a Samsung microSDXC  UHS-I card.     class 10 4K ultra HD.    read up to 95 and write 90

I understand that your computer is not reading a Micro SD card on your computer, is that right?

Not to worry, I will be glad to assist you. 

May I know the exact product number of your computer? Click here. Please do not share the serial number of your computer.

Is the card working on any other computer?

Are there any unknown devices listed in device manager?

Recommend you try the steps suggested in this HP Article and let me know how it goes.

I just reinstalled it and it found the card and started working.  I had tried earlier several times.  I'm going to leave the drive in the slot.  I will write again if it stops working.
