Hello All,
I have a question regarding my upgrade options for my HP ENVY x360 Laptop purchased in 2020. I have run out of storage space on the current drive (256GB). I am looking into my upgrade options and would like to install a 1TB drive. After some searching online I've seen some people saying some models don't allow over 512GB. I just wanted to confirm that I can use a 1TB before purchasing one.
Thanks,
Nick

Hi, Nick:
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.
Chapter 1 lists the supported drive capacities that HP offered in the model series.
HP offered M.2 NVMe SSD's up to 512 GB in the model series, but I can't think of any reason why a 1 TB NVMe SSD wouldn't work just as well.
While this is not official HP guidance, the Crucial SSD report for your notebook's model series indicates that they offer NVMe SSD's up to 4 TB in storage capacity.
