I want know about my notebook (HP pavilion P001TX ) Maximum RAM supported size ? 

is this ram single channel or dual channel ?

My Notebook information  given below

Hi,

Max RAM for your notebook is 16GB of DDR3L 1600MHz (2x8GB)

If you insert two sticks of the same RAM it will run in dual channel. On page 116 of service manual you can see the steps to install the RAM.

You should also consider replacing the Hard Drive with a 2.5" SATA3 SSD which would give a great boost to the notebook.
