hello, forum, please I'm new here. I would like to know about the maximum allowable RAM upgrade for Hp notebook-15-bs031wm; Intel core i3 7100u 2.4GHz 4GB Ram. Please for higher multitasking CAD softwares, can this laptop's RAM be upgraded to 8GB RAM?
Thanks for your anticipated responses,

Yes, and more. You have a single module of DDR4-2133 SO-DIMM and an open slot so adding another 4 gb module will bring you to 8 gb. If you wanted to it could be upgraded to 2 x 16 = 32 gigs even though the Manual says 2 x 8 = 16 gb is the max.
Post back if you want instructions on how to do it and where to buy the memory in your location. Please accept as solution if this is the info you needed.
