Folks,
I have a 15s EQ2144AU laptop
confg:Ryzen5 5500U with Radeon Graphics with preinstalled 8GB RAM.
And the question is Whats the maximun allowed/Supported Capacity of RAM ? I need to upgrade the RAM and I dont know the max allowed.
I saw lots of articles says that the maximum is 32GB and rarely saw the maximum is upto 16GB only, So whats the real one?and I need a serious help with this.
And one more thing is CRUCIAL Rams are good? I mean for Longlife,perfmnce..etc....

The service manual indicates the max memory is 2 x 8 GB.

If you want to confirm how much memory your notebook can support, run this command:
1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.
This will open the command prompt.
2. After the command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and press the enter key.
There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.
The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.
Crucial is a good memory company and offers a lifetime warranty on their memory.
I use Crucial memory all the time.
Once I had a 16 GB memory chip go bad, and I was easily able to RMA it to Crucial and get a replacement memory chip for just the cost of postage to mail the failed memory chip back to them.
I've never had any other issues with their memory.
Crucial memory is the retail division of Micron.

You're very welcome.
If the windows report indicated 32 GB, then 32 GB should work.
Even the Crucial memory report for your notebook indicates that 32 GB of memory is supported.
