HP 15 Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hello,

Recently I decided to upgrade my laptop by removing the old set of RAM (1x4GB and 1x2GB) and installing a bit more than that.

However, I don't know how much RAM is the maximum allowed amount that will run on this laptop.

I tried finding the answer to this questions in every possible way, but unfortunately I couldn't.

Could you please advise, thank you.

Laptop name is: HP 15 Notebook PC

Product Number is: K6Y69EA#AKS

Best Regards,

Sunny.

The Hyperx is 1.35 volt but sometimes it will not work because it has more aggressive timings. Probably OK though it will just operate like OEM memory.

Your machine is an HP Notebook - 15-r152nu, its specs

    https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c04492555

It has   6 GB 1600 MHz DDR3L SDRAM (1 x 2 GB, 1 x 4 GB) now. It uses Intel Core processor therefore it has  2 slots and supports up to 16 GB of system.

You can use 2 sticks of 8-GB (PC3L, 12800, 1600-MHz) part # 693374-005 for your machine.
