Hello,

A while ago I upgraded the RAM on my computer to 2 x 8gb, this was the specific memory I installed. Everything is working fine, but I'm hoping to upgrade to 32 or even 64 gb of RAM. It seems like 64 gb is not available, but I found 32 gb here

1) Is the specific model I chose compatible with my laptop computer?

2) Does my laptop computer even allow 32gb of RAM?

Thank you!

Hi,

The max RAM supported by your notebook is 16GB of DDR3L 1600Mhz RAM (2x8GB) even if service manual mentions 12GB.

So you have already reached the max. HP DDR4 systems will run with 32GB of RAM.

Hope it helps,

David
