Hello!

 

I'm thinking of buying the HP ENVY Laptop 15-ep0020ca, which according to the Service Manual, supports either 16GB or 32GB of memory.

 

However, I need 64GB of memory for my intended workload (virtualization host), which IMHO is a better match for the 8 cores  and 2TB NMVe.

1. RAM: It has Intel i9 Gen 10 processor, it should support 64GB of RAM using the following compatible RAM (will run at 2933MHz)

     or         https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/bl2k32g32c16s4b/ct18698833

 

2. STORAGE: From its specs, it already has 2 x 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD for storage, you can replace one or both drives with 2TB M.2 NVMe SSD from Samsung 970/980 or Crucial P2/P5 drives.
