HP 15g-501nr
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello!

Recently I've started upgrading my laptop HP 15-g501nr. I've finished with SSD and now I want to change my  4GB of RAM on something larger. I've already found type of my RAM and even its model - Samsung 4 GB SO-DIMM DDR3L 1600 MHz (M471B5173QH0-YK0).

Unfortunately I can't find out maximum size of RAM, that my laptop would be able to maintain. I've already searched through the official HP site and didn't find anything.

Some resources say the maximum size of RAM is 8 GB, but I'm not shure this information is correct.

Thank you in advance for helping me in aswering my question.

Hi,

Max RAM for your notebook is 8GB of DDR3L 1600Mhz.

There is one slot.

Service manual:
