Hi @3_Kaustubh,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding fan errors on the HP Pavilion Gaming 15 laptop!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Check for Obstructions:

  • Ensure there are no physical obstructions blocking the fan vents. Clean any dust or debris using compressed air to clear the vents and fan area.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Sometimes a hard reset can resolve fan errors. To perform a hard reset:
    • Shut down your laptop.
    • Unplug the power adapter and remove any external devices.
    • Press and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds.
    • Reconnect the power adapter and start your laptop.

Update BIOS and Drivers:

  • Outdated BIOS or system drivers can cause hardware-related errors.
  • Visit the HP Support website to download and install the latest BIOS and drivers for your specific laptop model.

Use HP PC Hardware Diagnostics:

  • HP provides a built-in diagnostics tool to test your system hardware:
    • Turn off your laptop, then power it on and repeatedly press Esc until the Startup Menu opens.
    • Press F2 to open HP PC Hardware Diagnostics.
    • Select "Component Tests" and then "Fan" to run the diagnostics.

Inspect the Internal Fans:

  • If you're comfortable opening your laptop, check if the fans are connected properly and functioning.
  • Ensure the fan connectors are secure and there are no loose connections or visible damage.

I hope this helps.
