Buenas, quisiera saber si puedo actualizar la memoria RAM de mi notebook, es una HP Pavilion modelo 14-ab109la. Esta notebook cuenta con 8gb de SDRAM DDR3L a 1600mhz y quisiera saber si le puedo poner 16gb de RAM DDR4 a 2133mhz o 8gb DDR4 a 2133mhz.

Hi:

 

According to the product specs for your notebook, it uses DDR3L-1600 memory only.

Below is the link to the service manual.  The memory upgrade info can be found in chapter 1.

Chapter 1 has the memory upgrade info.

 

Chapter 3, page 21 shows the memory is DDR3L-1600.

 

DDR4 memory runs at a different voltage, has a different number of contact pins and the notch in the memory is cut in a different place than it is for DDR3 memory, making it impossible to install the wrong memory.
