Victus by HP Gaming Laptop 15-fa0000 (680A4AV)

Hola comunidad, necesito ayuda.

Hi:

You should be able to install up to 2 x 32 GB of DDR4-3200 MHz memory in your notebook according to the Crucial memory report.

HP - Compaq HP Victus 15-fa0000 | Memory RAM & SSD Upgrades | Crucial IN

It only has support for one M.2 NVMe SSD, so if you need more storage, you will have to replace the 512 GB SSD with one having a greater storage capacity.

Below is the link to the service manual.  The drive capacities listed in the manual are just what HP offered in the model series, not the maximum capacity supported.

The Crucial SSD report I posted above indicates that they sell NVMe SSD's up to 4 TB.

Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)

The service manual also states the maximum memory is only 2 x 8 GB.

So, I recommend that you run this command to see how much memory Windows indicates your notebook can support:

1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.

This will open the command prompt.

2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and press the enter key.

There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.

The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.
