OMEN Laptop - 15-en0013dx
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello, I have been trying to diagnose why my computer has been blue screening for about 9 months now and haven't done the extensive looping test until just now. When doing so I have stumbled upon an error in the Memory Extensive Check. Here is everything that you might need to know, if there is anything else please let me know, thank you! OH And I should add, I understand that I probably need to replace my memory, but if someone could direct me to where to find RAM sticks that are compatible then that would be fantastic. I don't even remember what I used before but clearly I was lied to...

Also plenty of blue screens with IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL along with other errors

Changes:

Switched the RAM Sticks from 2 8 gbs to 2 16gbs

Hi:

This is the compatible Crucial memory chip for your notebook.

Crucial 16GB DDR4-3200 SODIMM | CT16G4SFRA32A | Crucial.com

I think it superseded the one you have now.

Crucial offers a limited lifetime warranty on the memory, but the problem is since you bought a kit, you have to return both chips.

Which means you would have to live without your notebook for a week to 10 days but you would get the memory replaced at no cost (other than mailing it back to them).

RMA Start | Crucial.com

I've had to return Crucial memory before.

It's only happened to me once in all the years I have purchased memory from them.

The process is easy as long as you can retrieve your invoice from wherever you purchased it from.

Hello again, Though that message did help, and would have helped if it was just a memory issue. I have my old memory sticks that I used before upgrading which worked fine before so I just swapped the new ones out with the old ones and ran the memory component test for 6 or so passes until I got a processor check error... similar failure ID

Failure ID: 0W41V9-AKUBMS-MFPU2K-07S803

Product ID: 2V926UA#ABA

(Ahh, and I recognize that its not the best to post in the same post, so I can make a new post entirely if needed but thought this might be easier)

Hi:

That probably is not a good thing.

Unfortunately, the HP failure ID code check website has a problem and will not provide a general report for the code.

HP Customer Support - Service Center

You can enter the failure ID code and product number at the link above and when the site is working again, it should give you a general report.

It only got so far as to tell me that there was a critical failure but did not mention anything else.

But if it is a processor check failure, and since the processor is an integral part of the motherboard, that would indicate that the motherboard would probably need to be replaced in order to repair the problem.
