My laptop won't load windows, I just keep getting to the repair screen. Tried to boot from USB and won't work. Tried to reset it from scratch, it won't work. Did a system extensive test, and the memory extensive check failed.
Failure ID: RLW6W0-9B7A0A-MFGJ2K-40DN03
seems like the RAM has failed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi:
You will have to replace the faulty memory module.
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook, where you can find the memory removal and replacement procedure.
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06146792
The product specs indicate that your notebook came with 4 GB of memory and there is only one memory slot.
You may as well replace the 4 GB chip with an 8 GB chip and max out the memory.
Here is the link to the Crucial memory report for your notebook which has compatible memory for sale.

Thanks Paul, I ordered the new ram and installed it. ran a test again and everything says passed.
The problem now is that it's stuck in the Automatic repair and nothing works.
Reset PC, boot from USB... NOTHING! I keep getting "There was a problem with your PC"
Start up repair just gives me "Startup repair couldn't repair your pc"
any help would be appreciated.

Hi:
Sorry that the memory isn't working.
Unfortunately, I don't know what the issue could be if the memory passed the test.
Here is what I recommend...
Using another Windows PC, make a bootable USB recovery drive using the HP cloud recovery client tool.
Here is an info link for how to use the tool...

How are you trying to boot from a USB flash drive?
With the USB flash drive in the PC, turn on or restart the PC.
Immediately tap the ESC key at the beginning of the HP welcome screen to get the menu of options.
Select the F9 boot options menu, and from that, select the USB flash drive, and press the Enter key.
The PC is supposed to boot from the USB flash drive then.

Make a bootable W10 installation flash drive using the media creation tool at the link below.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
Boot from it using the info I posted, and when you get to the Install Now screen, on the lower left side of the screen, there will be a 'Repair your computer' link to click on.
Click on that, and you can google some methods to repair that error.
