HP ENVY x360 Convertible 15m-dr1012dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP ENVY x360 Convertible (15m-dr1012dx) has come with 12gb RAM.

What are the upgrade options?

 - What is the max recommended memory? is it 16 or 32 gb?

 - Can the RAM be changed in both the slots or is it soldered to the board?

 - If soldered what is the RAM amount soldered - 4gb or 8 gb?

 - If soldered can I add RAM (16gb) on the upgradeable slot to make it more than recommended RAM (20 or 24 gb based on how much is soldered)

 - What is the specification of RAM to buy?

thanks

Its specs

It has  12 GB DDR4-2666 SDRAM (1 x 4 GB, 1 x 8 GB) now. It has 2 replaceable RAM slots, you can upgrade to 32GB max using compatible RAM such as

Thanks @Banhien

for your quick response, while waiting for the response, I learnt to open the laptop and check installed RAM.

My laptop has SODIMM DDR4

  - 8gb 3200

 - 4gb 2666

I'm little confused now whether to buy 3200 or 2666?

Thanks again

It will only run 2666MHx in this case.
