HP ENVY x360 Convertible Laptop PC 13-bd0000 (172M7AV)

Hi folks,

I want to upgrade my existing memory (2*8= 16 GB) to (2*16= 32) GB. I am not sure if my laptop is compatible with that or not- I read some articles and got mixed opinions. Could you please share your thoughts about it? If you have any recommendations, that would be highly appreciated.

I am also not sure what speed and model, like DDR4 or DDR5, will be better for this PC.

Hi:

Unfortunately, the memory your notebook comes with is an integral part of the motherboard and cannot be upgraded.

If you look at chapter 3 of the service manual, motherboards came configured with either 8 GB of 16 GB of system memory.

If you look at chapter 5, there is no procedure to remove/replace the memory.
