I am trying to determine from HP Assistant, Specifications and Virtual Assistant what is the MAXimum memory that the HP Notebook 15-f272wm can take. I know there is only one memory slot and that the equipment shipped with 4 G of memory. I have found a single memory board of 8 G but I don't know if this model can accept it. Can it?

Hi:
Yes. Models with the Pentium or Celeron processors have one memory slot, and you can replace the 4 GB memory module with an 8 GB memory module.
Below is the link to the service manual. The memory upgrade info can be found in chapter 1.
The manual is incorrect regarding the maximum memory spec for the single slot models.

...and the crucial memory site indicates the same...one slot, max 8 GB.
