Product: HP ZBook 15 G4 Mobile Workstation
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I looked at the manual for the HP ZBook 15 G4 Mobile Workstation and it looks UNBELIEVABLY complex to replace memory. I like the laptop but I need to upgrade the memory. I've been upgrading memory FOR YEARS but it looks like from the manual that I have to take apart the ENTIRE LAPTOP to add memory. Has anyone successfully added memory to an HP ZBook 15 G4 Mobile Workstation themselves? In NYC it would probably be cheaper to sell this laptop than pay a laptop place to upgrade the memory. SHould have look at the manual before I bought this laptop. . . BIG MISTAKE

Hi,

It should not be too difficult. What you need to do is remove the bottom cover (9 screws) and then replace/upgrade RAM. (page 36 of service manual)

On page 38, 39 you can see the order of the modules.
