I want to upgrade to 32GB. I have 8GB installed. I wish to use two 16GB chips. All the information I have found says I can go to 32GB. It is a DDR4 8GB chip installed. I am just confused by the PIN # the chip I found is 260 not sure it will work. This is the chip i found. Crucial RAM 16GB DDR4 2400 MHz CL17 Laptop Memory CT16G4SFD824A.The product # for my laptop is 1KU09UA#ABA.

Hi,
Your notebook supports max 32 GB of DDR4 2400MHz RAM (2x16GB) even if service manual mentions 16GB.
Ex:
https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/pavilion-15-cc067cl#memory
On page 44 of service manual you can see the steps to install the RAM

Hope it helps,
David

Thank you for your prompt reply. It is a big help. The Pin count is that the # of contact points in the slot? Just curious.
