Hi Jithin John Mathew,

The notebook supports max 16GB of DDR3L 1600MHz RAM (2x8GB) even if the service manual mentions 8GB

Example:

https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/HP-Compaq/hp-15-ac146ne#MEMORYFilters

On page 46 of service manual you can see the steps to install the RAM

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04653884

You should upgrade the HDD to a 2.5" SATA3 SSD such as the Samsung 860 Evo or similar

Examples:

https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Inch-Internal-MZ-76E1T0B-AM/dp/B078DPCY3T/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=860+evo...

https://www.amazon.com/Crucial-MX500-NAND-SATA-Internal/dp/B077SF8KMG/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=mx500&qid=...

This would give a great boost to the everyday performance of the PC.

You will need to reinstall the OS on the SSD.

Hope it helps,

David
