Bought a memory card for HP stream but it doesn’t fit/click - is the slot real? If so what card fits it?

What you will need is an SD adapter for the micro SD sized card to plug into. 

 

Some sd cards are delivered with adapters.  See the example below.

Most micro SD media cards will work.

Is that an SD card?

 

Most people, myself included have been using micro SD cards in adapters. I have not seen an SD card for some time.

 

If it doesn't fit, there may be something wrong with it, unless you forced it in the wrong way.

 

I suggest returning it and getting a micro SD card that comes with an adapter.
