RAM memory is currently 4x1card

need to know how much I can upgrade and if it has more than one slot.

can I do 16x2 or what is the max.

and what is the cost for 

one 4 to make it 4x2

or two 8’s to make 16gb?

also the product code for the memory cards

Below is the link to the service manual.

 

Chapter 1 has the memory upgrade information.

 

Maintenance and Service Guide HP 15 Laptop PC

 

Your notebook has two memory slots and can support up to 2 x 8 GB of DDR4 memory which will run at 1866 MHz.

 

The memory part numbers can be found in chapter 3 of the service manual.

 

I recommend that you purchase retail memory which will have a better warranty.

 

I do not believe that purchasing OEM memory will have any warranty.

 

This memory should work in your notebook:
