This laptop currently has 8GB memory using 1 of 2 slots. Where can I find another good quality 8GB memory? I checked crucial.com and they only had a 4 GB stick.
Thanks in advance

Thank you for responding,
It's great to have you back 😉
Did you check the user guide or the service manual guide for confirming these details?
If you haven't, no worries, because I took the liberty of looking that up, for you:
Here's the link to your Service Manual Guide: Click here
The same can be accessed using the Official HP website for user guides, software, etc...
And this is what your computer supports:
Memory Two SODIMM slots - NON-customer accessible / upgradeable
DDR3L-1600 Dual Channel Support
Supports up to 16 GB of system RAM in the following configurations:
- 16384-MB total system memory (8192×2)
- 12288-MB total system memory (8192×1) + (4096×1)
- 8192-MB total system memory (8192×1) or (4096×2)
- 6144-MB total system memory (4096×1) + (2048×1)
- 4096-MB total system memory (4096×1) or (2048×2)
I hope this helps,
Keep me posted for further assistance 😉

Thank you for joining HP Forums.
I'll be glad to help you 🙂
As I understand you need information on upgrading Memory on your HP 15t-ab200 laptop,
No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:
Did you check the HP article on memory/Ram upgrade?
Have you looked at 3rd party/retail stores to obtain the 8Gb module?
If you haven't checked the HP Article on upgrading memory: Click here for details.
And If you've already confirmed that the PC supports more 8GB or up to 16GB you may get the extra 8GB from Hewlett Packard Shopping site or at any retail store if not available on Crucial.com, Just ensure you have the correct configuration that would be supported by the motherboard.
Keep me posted for further assistance 😉

I am having a hard time figuring what the memory chip specifications are for my 15t-ab200. I find specs and memory for other 15t-ab2xx models, but nothing for ab200. How can I be sure that I can get the correct memory?
