Hello!
I'm about to buy myself an ProBook 440 G4, core i5 7:th generation). This particular model has two SO-DIMM slots available. Is it possible to use 2x16GB memory sticks in there?
According to the seller, yes.
But, looking at data specs from hp's website, seems like 2x8gb is max. If this is the max, why is that? Like, why would it be limited like that?
Best regards.

Both the thinkpad E70 and the probook 440 g4 that I'm loking at uses the intel Core i5 7200U CPU.
HP's probook 440 g4 datasheet specifies max 16GB memory (2x8).
Thinkpad E470 datasheet specifies 32GB max memory.
