Product: HP ENVY - 17t-ce100 CTO
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I seen the question asked back in Dec of 2019 but I am now needing a answer on it in May-2020 I just bought my laptop and use it for school and have to put Hyper-v VM's on it for classes. My laptop has 8GBX2, but I want to upgrade it to 16X2. I cant seem to find the specs for this to see if I can do that? I got to believe I can for a brand new laptop, right? And if so how do find the part number that will fit this laptop?

Its is a CTO machine therefore sometimes we have to wait to get more information. Back to your question, you can upgrade to 32GB (2 x 16GB) max using following compatible RAM (or similar)

which is guaranteed compatible when you order from Crucial.com.
