In October I purchased a Pavilion dv7 (model dv7t-7000) with 16 GB of RAM.  Is it possible to upgrade to 32 GB?  I'd also like to add a SSD as a second drive.  Is that possible.

Hi,

It's a CTO machine therefore we can have its specs.

1. For RAM, I think 16GB is its limit as shown in the following link:

2. Yes, you can use SSD on the second bay, please watch the following video:

I'll try and check this myself, but is there any HP configuration the is upgradable to 32 GB of RAM?  The processor would have to be quad core.  My aim is a machine that will run Windows 8 Pro and I can use Hyper-V to built a small (database sever, web server, app server) SharePoint farm for testing.  Although I could get by with less for the databse serer and app server the web server VM requires quad core and at least 8-10 GB of RAM.

I can't get that link to work for RAM that was pasted below.  I wanted to go from 16GB to 32GB.  Is that possible?  Can you repaste the link?
