Hi:

 

Your notebook can support 2 x 8 GB of DDR4-2400 CL17 memory.

 

The 12 GB maximum memory indicated in the service manual is incorrect.

The parts list for your notebook indicates that it came with 1 x 8 GB of DDR4 memory, so you can install another DDR4-2400 8 GB memory chip in the empty slot.

 

The parts list has the battery part number and description for the battery your notebook uses:

 

HP PartSurfer

 

HP does not sell the battery you need for your notebook, so the only suggestion I can offer would be to do a search by the HP 916811-855 battery part number on Amazon, eBay or laptopbatteryexpress.com and find a compatible aftermarket battery that references the HP part number.
