I recently using HP Laptop 15-da0327tu with 4GB ram in-built. I want to insert additional ram of 8GB -2133Mhz / 2400Mhz (which will work as 2133Mhz).
If i use different capacity/size, brand, latency, etc of ram that doesn't match with the in-built ram, will it will damage / affect to my system & performance or not?. In some videos & article i saw that if we use two different capacity/size, brand, latency, etc ram, will not give better performance.
And if i had insert 8GB ram then my total memory will be (4+8) 12GB, will it give me better performance or (4+4) 8 GB will give me better performance.
Could you please assist me in providing the information regarding my query & ram which is compatible to my notebook.

- You can install 2400MHz RAM and it will run at 2133MHz RAM,
- You can use RAM from other brand as long as it is COMPATIBLE. Note: Not all RAM sticks are the same.
- You can install 4+8 it it would run better than 4+4 depending on few other factors, You won't be able to see much better.
