Memory upgrade not working

Hello!

I have the Probook 455 G4 laptop with AMD A6-9210 CPU. It came with a single 4GB memory stick and I decided to upgrade to 2x8GB memory since it is the maximum it supports. The memory I ordered is 2x Corsair Valueselect 8GB DDR4.

Upon installing the memory, the laptop will not boot up. No BIOS beep, no image, no way to enter BIOS or Windows.

From my understanding the CPU supports up to 2133 MHz, but the laptop specs online show 1866 MHz max. Regardless, the memory should be able to work at 1866 if that is the maximum supported by the laptop.

Also the CPU supports single channel memory only, so I understand that by installing 2 RAM sticks I do get the 16GB total, just in 64 bit mode, not 128 due to no support for dual channel.

I have tried inserting just one RAM stick in the slot which the service manual says should be used if only using one RAM stick, yet it also doesn't boot up this way.

I have upgraded the BIOS to the latest available on the laptop's page.

I have also tried the RAM sticks in another laptop, they work there without a problem.

Can anyone help me figure out the cause of the incompatibility and if it's possible for me to get the new RAM working in this laptop?

my ntb ProBook 450 G5 2x8GB,, i upgraded for 2x16 GB and first start to Win10 was OK, but after restart not working and only 2 long and 2 short beeps for several times and blank screen and Capslock Numlock is doing 3 long + 2 short blinking..Maybe memory timing, but BIOS does not support this setting
