Microsoft Windows 11

Hello

I have a problem with memory upgrade.

I try to install Corsair Vengeance CMCX32GX4M2A3200C22, but constantly getting BSOD with Kernel Security Check Failure

But it's still 3200 MHz DDR4 1.2 v memory

Modules is in good condition, checked.

Is there a settings to change in UEFI to make it work.

The only difference is original memory is single ranked, and new is double ranked

Can it be the problem?

Partly. HP laptops do not operate well on performance or gaming memory, which has faster timings for fetching data on each processor cycle. You are not the first to confront this issue and all I can advise is to get some stock OEM RAM modules like Hynix, Samsung or even Crucial. Even if the Corsair Vengeance would work it would set itself to stock timings so nothing to gain with "gaming" or "performance" RAM.

Thank you

Is there the way to start this memory on laptop, or i must return it and buy stock OEM memory?

Thank you

If it does not work there is no way to alter anything in the BIOS or otherwise that will make it work. Return it and get Hynix or Samsung stock OEM memory. Try to find something similar to the original memory supplied by HP.
