Hi Dear.

I want to expand the memory of my HP Laptop 14-cm0507sa from 4 Gb to 8 Gb? Is there a separate memory expansion slot for the 4Gb memory card or do I need to replace the 4GB card in the primary slot with 8GB? Also, would I be interested in exactly what type of memory it contains?

HP Recommended

It's an AMD A4 processor so it has only one memory slot on the motherboard. You will use DDR4-2400 SO-DIMM which will downclock to -1866 speed because of limits in the motherboard hardware and processor. The largest module which can be used is 8 gigs.
