can I upgrade the memory on my laptop from 8gb to 16 or 32gb. it is an HP pavillion laptopn 14 dv0xxx with 8gb RAM and 11th gen Intel core i5

My HP 15-dy2xxx model with an Intel Core i5 11th gen processor supports 32 GB (2x16 GB) DDR4-3200 memory. 

 

Click the link below and run the wmic command for the max RAM capacity your notebook can support.

2 Steps to Check Maximum RAM Capacity of Your Computer

 

If it reports 32 GB, your model can handle 2x16 GB.
