Hi I own a compaq presario cq61 427 sa, I need info on memory upgrade and ssd upgrade, is it possible to replace the 2x2gb and replace with 2x4gb, also fit a 1tb ssd, thanks in advance

Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates the max memory is 2 x 4 GB of DDR2-6400 (800 MHz).

You posted that you are running W10 32 bit and if that is correct, there is no point in upgrading the memory unless you install a 64 bit operating system.
The product specs for your notebook indicate that it originally came with W7 64 bit.
Note that 2 x 4 GB DDR2-6400 memory chips will probably be expensive and difficult to find.
I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to install a 2.5" SSD.
The Crucial memory/SSD report for your notebook indicates they sell SSD's that they indicate are compatible with your notebook.
The MX models have faster read/write speeds than the BX models.

Your notebook's drive controller is only SATA II (3.0 GB/S) which means that the SATA III (6.0 GB/S) SSD will only run at the 3.0 GB/S transfer speed.
