I am clueless on computers and dont know where to start. I just want to click and play!! But my games are now using all my ram and freezes on a regular basis - my favourite game can sometimes take more than 5 mins just to open...Can someone help me find the right part so I can upgrade my memory. I need to know what part I can buy to replace existing ram and ideally to point to what part I need to get to 32/64/128 IF my computer can handle it. Please insert links where possible or the exact search phrase.

The easiest method to determine a suitable upgrade is to go to Crucial.com and run their system evaluator and it will show you what you currently have and which upgrades are available, supported and guaranteed to work. You can check support.hp.com for the Maintenance and service guide for your computer which will show you how to install the upgrades.

Thanks for helping, and as great as Crucial seem to be - it is flogging its own products only which in my case is out of stock. It also seems to want me to install a new SSD which makes no sense UNLESS it is needed with the additional RAM. This however in my limited knowledge of Computers makes no sense to me. When you search on Amazon for "parts" there are so many options that I just cant get my head around it. Do you have any recommendations to replace the Crucial Branded RAM?
