I bought a new HP Spectre x360 16-f0059na in October 2022.  At the time I took out warranty and care pack.  A few days ago,  decided to try the micro sd reader and inserted a well known brand of card into the slot.  The laptop did not recognise card there doesn't anyway to eject the card.  I rang HP technical who told me as it is not a known issue it is not covered by my warranty or care pack and is in fact , classed as a paid repair.  I totally disagree as I feel the micro sd card slot is not fit for purpose.  Is there anyway I can appeal against the decision it is classed as a repair.  If I send to have have the repair carried out by a reputable repair centre , it will void the warranty if they have to remove the back.
