My micro sd card reader in the laptop suddenly stopped working again. over half a year ago after I updated from windows 10 to 11 using a new image(so everything I had previously was gone now but now I got windows 11), the card reader stopped working and I followed a guide here to fix it, but now, about half a year later, it stopped working again.
Today, I've tried every solution I could find on here but none worked. I've tried uninstalling the Realtek PCIE CardReader driver, I went into the BIOS to check whether it's turned on or not, and it was turned on. I've installed some other drivers which I do not know if they even did anything or not, there were several and their names were 'sp104138', 'sp104205' and 'sp112848'.
I'm sure the problem isn't the micro sd card because it worked fine on my 3ds or phone but my laptop just doesn't detect it.
And I'm also sure the card reader also is not the problem because it worked fine back then, and since then nothing has happened to the laptop, like, it didn't fall or receive any kind of damage since that time.
Also, if it would be of help, the laptop I'm using is the HP ProBook 445 G8 Notebook PC
